Remove the existing screw completely. Use a suitable bit or grip the outer edge of the screw head with pliers.

⚠️ Important: Do not try to use the hex socket—the socket can easily strip. Always grip the outer edge with pliers and work calmly and carefully.

Remove the existing device insert from the mount. The slot is now free for the new 715/716 adapter.

Insert the new Garmin RCT 715/716 adapter. You can decide whether to use the included retention strap—it is optional.

If you use the retention strap, you can orient it either upward or downward, according to your personal preference.

Reinsert the screw and tighten it using a suitable bit or pliers on the outer edge of the screw head.

⚠️ Important: The same applies here—use the hex socket carefully, as it can easily strip. Tighten the screw firmly, but do not use force.
